POD Graphic File Requirements—Dos and Don’ts

✅ DOs:

Use PNG Files with Transparent Backgrounds: Always save your design in PNG format with a transparent background. This ensures your design will appear sharp and clean on all products.

High Resolution: Ensure your PNG file has a resolution of 300 DPI for crisp, clear prints.

Use Correct Dimensions: Make sure your PNG file is sized appropriately for the product you're designing. Check product guidelines for recommended dimensions.

❌ DON'Ts:

Avoid Low Resolution: Do not use PNG files with a resolution lower than 300 DPI, as this will result in blurry or pixelated prints. ***Low quality image types may result in a low quality print***

Don’t Use Incorrect Image Files: JPG's or other image files are often low quality for POD designs, as they may result in pixelated or blurry prints when scaled for various products. PNG files are preferred due to their higher quality and ability to maintain sharp edges and clear details, which are essential for professional-looking prints.

Avoid Low-Quality Stock Images: Using low-resolution PNGs or unlicensed stock images can lead to quality issues or legal concerns.
